Hey, how are ya? 🙂 Hope your weekend is off to a great start!
Well, it was a lovely day here in San Diego. By the time my sister picked me up from the airport and I got all settled in it was already lunchtime so we decided to head over to Harbor Island to grab something to eat.
We snapped a few pics while waiting for our table.
Lunch was at C-Level Lounge, a fun little restaurant on the water. It was such a perfect day to sit outdoors. We split the warm baby spinach salad with grilled shrimp
and a side of sweet potato fries.
Hit the spot. 🙂
After lunch it was straight to the beach. We both wanted to get some sun and it was a warm enough day but the cool ocean breeze was a little too much and made it difficult to get our tan on. We braved the beach for about an hour before calling it quits.
(our barely used beach towels)
We headed over to Bird Rock, a cute little beachside neighborhood to walk around and look at the shops. First stop on the list was to grab some coffee to warm up!
The scenery was beautiful and it was good to get a little walking cardio in.
Before heading back to my sister’s place, we decided a little frozen yogurt was in order. We stopped at a cute little yogurt shop called Froglander’s where, as the name suggests, everything was frog-themed.
We both went with the tadpole kid-sized bowls. 🙂
The past couple hours have pretty much been spent lounging around – now we’re off to find something for dinner!
Hope you’re having a great Friday night!
